Heavy Parts ID
I have a background as a parts advisor selling both genuine and aftermarket construction equipment parts for a major dealership of global brands. Heavy Parts ID works in your best interest rather than selling you parts directly. I use my skills to identify the correct part numbers so you can make an informed decision about where to purchase, based on your budget and circumstances.Jason Hunt.

Parts Identification Support – Limited Boutique Service
Get ongoing access to an experienced parts consultant without paying a wage.I help equipment owners and small workshops correctly identify parts so they can order with confidence. This is a small, capped service — I limit the number of active subscribers so every client receives proper attention.
I do not have staff. When you subscribe, you deal directly with me as the business owner. This keeps full accountability with the person doing the work. Why use a real person instead of an AI tool?
AI tools can surface part numbers and diagrams quickly. What they cannot reliably do is apply experienced judgement to serial breaks, incomplete information, or borderline cases — and they have no memory of your individual machines. When you use this service you get:A real person who checks serial number breaks and fitment details that are easy to miss.Clear advice on whether the identification is reliable.A growing record of your machines (including any non-OEM or aftermarket components) so future requests are faster and more accurate.A record of your filters so I can quickly confirm or suggest the correct ones when a service is due.Recommendations for the correct lubricants and quantities for each component provided your machine is listed.Time saved — you stay focused on running your machines or workshop while I handle the parts identification. As a boutique service I am here to build ongoing relationships with my clients. I take the time to familiarise myself with your industry, equipment and specific needs so I can help you succeed with less downtime — not simply sell a one-off service. An AI tool starts fresh every time. It does not remember your equipment, previous non-genuine parts, filter setup, or lubricant requirements.
Even the highest plan remains far cheaper than employing someone to provide this service.
How it works:Send photos, serial numbers, model details, and a clear description of what you require.I identify the most likely correct part number(s) and options.Where helpful, I provide supplier links so you can order the most cost-effective option yourself.I keep a simple history of your machines.Communication is by email or messaging only.Complex components:
Some parts (for example certain valves, sensors or assemblies) may require confirmation from your mechanic. In these cases I will provide the relevant parts diagram or breakdown so the correct item can be identified. This is standard practice and helps ensure accuracy.
Workload & Priority Management
I manage requests to maintain quality and reasonable response times.
During busy periods, identifications may be spread over more than one day.
You can tell me which parts to prioritise and flag any machine-down situations.
Genuine machine-down requests are always handled first.
Unlimited customers receive the highest priority in the queue.A machine serial number is important. Many parts change across serial breaks. Without a serial number, accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Please tell me upfront if the machine has any non-OEM or aftermarket components (especially buckets or wear parts).I work with the manuals and resources available to me.
If I do not have the correct manual, I will tell you straight away.I sell a service (parts identification and guidance), not the parts themselves.
I do not hold stock or mark up parts.I am not affiliated with any dealer or supplier network.
Some links may be affiliate links — I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.Scope:
Identification and sourcing guidance only.
I do not diagnose mechanical problems or carry out repairs.
Non-OEM / aftermarket parts
Please advise upfront if the machine has any non-genuine or aftermarket components fitted (especially buckets, hitches, or wear parts). Without this information, accurate identification may not be possible.Ongoing Subscription Plans (USD) – Limited PlacesPlan:

New customers can request one free standard part identification to experience the service. Please include machine make, model, serial number (if available), and a clear photo or description.
Complex or multi-part requests are available on a paid plan. After the free identification you can secure one of the limited ongoing places if available.I aim to respond as quickly as possible. Straightforward identifications are often completed the same day. During busy periods or with complex requests, work may be prioritised and completed over more than one day. Machine-down requests are always moved to the front of the queue.Operating hours:
I am based in New Zealand (NZST/NZDT) and work standard daytime hours in this time zone. Requests received outside these hours will be handled on the next working day. Genuine machine-down requests are prioritised when I am next available.
Thank You
I look forward to working with you.
